What do you do?  I write language arts and health student books, teacher guides, assessment tests, leveled readers, and other educational material for children and adults.
What are you working on now? I'm writing a health care careers curriculum for high school students that will be published by the Pearson Foundation.
What are some of your recent projects?

• I conceived, developed, and wrote What If: Social Scenario Flash Cards.
• I co-wrote the popular Hot Word blog, which receives 20,000 daily visits.
• I wrote historical mystery story scripts for Brain Odyssey, a brain-training computer game.

What are some of the publishers and companies you've worked for?  My work has been published by Houghton Mifflin, Harcourt School Publishers, Holt McDougal, Zaner-Bloser, Posit Science, Dictionary.com, and Toymato.
What do you do when you aren't writing? I'm pruning tomato plants, rolling lemons around the kitchen with my son, or swimming laps.
